I 'm Liezl
I have always had a passion for baking. I completed a three-year course in Culinary Arts at The International Hotel School, and specialised in pastry. During the last last ten years of my career I have worked at various places from bistros, food shops, a fine dining restaurant and even developed recipes for a bistro bakery.

Keik Bakery is all about what makes my heart happy.
Keik bakery is inspired by the wonderful, Mediterranean flavours of Greece. Keik is a Greek word which means cake, and if you look at the definition of cake in the dictionary, the explanation for its pronunciation is -Keik-

Our gorgeous birthday and wedding cakes. Our birthday and wedding cakes are all custom made to our client’s specifications. We enjoy adding their favourites to the flavour combinations. I.e. if they love pecan nuts, toffee and the colour green, we would do a green velvet cake with pecan toffee buttercream and caramelized pecan nuts.
Our brownies and giant macarons. For the brownies we use European coverture chocolate and tons of butter which is evident in the rich, decadent and very fudgy texture. We then add rum caramel, sometimes pretzels, chewy nougat or anything else that adds to the amazing texture. Yum!
