About Keik Bakery

Keik Bakery is a boutique bakery in Monument Park, Pretoria, creating handcrafted cakes and sweet treats for life’s special moments. From celebration cakes and elegant wedding cakes to macarons, desserts and hands-on decorating workshops, everything is made with creativity, care and quality ingredients.
The Founder
MEET LIEZL DE BRUYN
Keik Bakery is owned and led by Liezl de Bruyn, who studied Culinary Arts at The International Hotel School. During her internship, she discovered a love for baking that grew into a passion for creating beautiful cakes and desserts.
After more than ten years in the culinary industry, Liezl followed her dream of opening a bakery of her own and officially launched Keik Bakery in July 2020. Today, her creativity and attention to detail can be seen in everything from celebration cakes and wedding designs to the decorating workshops hosted at Keik.
Behind the Name
WHY “KEIK”?
Keik is the Greek word for cake, but to me it represents so much more. I've always loved the Greek culture of gathering around good food, caring for one another, and making everyone feel welcome. That same spirit is at the heart of Keik Bakery.
We believe in baking everything from scratch using real, quality ingredients—no shortcuts, just honest baking. My hope is that every person who walks through our doors feels as welcomed and cared for as they would around a Greek family table.
