Keik Bakery is a boutique bakery in Monument Park, Pretoria, creating handcrafted cakes and sweet treats for life’s special moments. From celebration cakes and elegant wedding cakes to macarons, desserts and hands-on decorating workshops, everything is made with creativity, care and quality ingredients.
The Founder
Meet Liezl de Bruyn
Keik Bakery is owned and led by Liezl de Bruyn, who studied Culinary Arts at The International Hotel School. During her internship, she discovered a love for baking that grew into a passion for creating beautiful cakes and desserts.
After more than ten years in the culinary industry, Liezl followed her dream of opening a bakery of her own and officially launched Keik Bakery in July 2020. Today, her creativity and attention to detail can be seen in everything from celebration cakes and wedding designs to the decorating workshops hosted at Keik.

Why “Keik”?
The name Keik is inspired by the Greek word for cake and the Mediterranean flavours that helped inspire the bakery. It reflects a love of beautiful cakes, shared celebrations and sweet moments enjoyed together.
